DAMASCUS, SANA _ Vice President Najah al-Attar opened Sunday the 6th Conference of the Arabization of Health Sciences Network, organized by the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office of the World Health Organization. Participants include doctors and experts from Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Syria. The 3-day conference will discuss at the Arab Assembly issues related to the requirements of teaching in Arabic such as the Arabicization of medicine, university books, terminology, medical dictionaries, translation, and the training and rehabilitation of teachers to communicate in Arabic.
