Minister of Agriculture , Adel Safar, has said that the Syrian-Jordanian Agricultural Agreement is the best with high percentage of implementation.
Safar who is currently on a visit to Amman to attend the Syrian-Jordanian Agricultural Committee , added that the joint agriculture committee meets annually to discuss what has been implemented so far of the agreement.
He indicated that the agreement provides for cooperation in sphere of agricultural research, training, and exchange of information , saplings and seeds.
He pointed out that the agricultural calendar was replaced by the Arab Facilitation Agreement which provides for free exchange of products of Arab origin.
He indicated that according to the protocols of the standing Agreement of cooperation between the two countries ,Jordanians are being trained at the research centers , training and qualification centers in Syria.
Earlier in the morning, the deliberations of the Syrian and Jordanian delegations began under the chairmanship of the Agriculture Ministers of the two countries.
