Minister of Tourism Sa'adalla Agha al-Qala'a has underlined the importance of encouraging and upgrading inner tourism in Syria, particularly that the national tourism has several dimensions and joint benefits to the citizen and to the national economy.

In a press conference held Sunday on the occasion of launching the 1st Exhibition of Inner Tourism on May 22-24, al-Qala'a said that the Ministry of tourism nowadays is working to launch the inner tourism in Syria. "Every year we concentrate on new points with the aim of supporting and developing the tourist sector."

The 1st Exhibition of Inner Tourism in Syria organized by Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Syrian Company for Tourism for upgrading the inner tourism and acquainting the citizen with the archeological sites and with important tourist places in Syria.
