Al-Quneitra, (SANA) _ Member of the Standing Committee of Political Bureau of Central Committee of Chinese Communist Party Li Changchun has condemned the brutal devastation of the liberated city of al-Quneitra by the Israeli occupation forces shortly before withdrawing.
Changchun, during a visit of the Chinese delegation to al-Quneitra on Thursday, stressed China's support to Syria's just causes and right to liberate the occupied Golan and restore rights of its citizens.
Changchun and his accompanying delegation toured the liberated city and examined
the barbaric destruction left by the occupation army .
He planted a tree in the garden of al-Quneitra Friends in an expression of support for the return of the occupied territories to their owners and absolute condemnation of the destruction, hoping this city to live in peace and to restore the occupied part of it.
The Chinese delegation was received by Secretary of al-Quneitra Branch of the Baath Arab Socialist Party Mohamed Alavich and Governor of al-Quneitra Nawaf al-Sheikh Fares who gave the visiting delegation an idea about the geographic, historic and human sides of the city.
Later, the Chinese delegation left Damascus wrapping up a three-day visit to Syria during which he held talks with senior officials in the party and the state.
At Damascus International Airport, the delegation was seen off, by Member of the BASP Regional Leadership Yasser Houria, Secretary of Damascus Party Branch Khalil Mashhadiya, Chinese ambassador in Damascus and the embassy staff.
