Damascus, (SANA) – The Syrian Football Association decided that the new Italian coach Antonio Cabrini should begin training the Syrian national team directly after the team's return from Iran.

In the agreement between the Association and the company in charge of Cabrini, it was also agreed that the company will provide equipment for the team as long as the Association pays the expenses of the coach and his assistant.

The coach's work will be evaluated after the qualifications, with both sides to decide either to renew or terminate the contract. In case of renewal, the association will pay all of Cabrini's expenses, while he will be directly in charge of the senior national football team in addition to supervising the youth and novice national teams.
