Syrian-Scandinavian Art Exhibition Opened in Palmyra

Palmyra, central Syria (SANA)-The Syrian-Scandinavian Plastic Art Exhibition was opened at Palmyra Hotel on Monday with the participation of 37 artists from Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark in cooperation with the Syrian Association of Fine Arts (SAFA) and Palmyran House of Caravans for Fine Arts.

The exhibition consists of 100 different paintings representing various kinds of arts, engraves on wood and stones.

Head of SAFA Anwar al-Rahbi said the event was important as it was opened in the ancient Syrian city of Palmyra which is distinguished by its elegant constructions and architecture.
