Beirut, (SANA)-Member of the Development and Liberation Bloc at the Lebanese Parliament, MP Ayob Hameed on Sunday praised the positive outcomes of the Syrian-Lebanese summit lately held between Presidents Bashar al-Assad and Lebanese counterpart Michel Sleiman in Damascus.

"The interest of the two brotherly countries, Lebanon and Syria, is in distinguished and consolidated ties between them," Hameed said in a speech at a celebration held by AMAL Movement in Ras al-Ein, South Lebanon.

Syria and Lebanon agreed last Wednesday to establish diplomatic ties.
