Minister of Economy and Trade , Amer Loutfi, and Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade, Amer Hadidi underlined during the meetings of the Syrian-Jordanian Free Zone Company General Assembly held in Daraa today, the big successes that the joint company has so far made in encouraging trade between the two countries and in providing job opportunities in Syria and Jordan.
Chairman of the company board, Hassan Khairat, made a review of the company's activities that have yielded profits that mounted to more than 15.5 million dollars last year,
He added that the investment operations of the company achieved indirect profits that mounted 30 million dollars last year compared to 27 million dollars in 2006.
The two ministers opened a new factory for production soft drink built by Sinalco International company.
