Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs, Abdullah Dardari held talks yesterday with Secretary General of the Elysee Palace ,Jean-Claude Guyan , during which they made an overall evaluation of the outcome of the meetings held by Dardari with the French officials , and heads of the major French companies.
The two sides underlined the outcome of these talks which will lay down an economic basis for strategic partnership that ensures the interests of both counties by the short and long run.
For his part, Guyan stressed the French presidency support to the economic initiatives which were proposed in preparation for French President, Nicholas Sarkozy's visit to Damascus, and the French government commitment to extend all aspects of technical and financial support for the proposed projects.
