Syrian Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform , Adel Safar, has underlined that the achievement of overall development and ensuring food in the poor countries require more international efforts in extending aid to these countries to pursue comprehensive development plans which contribute to improve the level of the producers ,and to limit the threat of being unable of ensuring food , health and education.
In his address at the Food Security and Climate Change Challenges World Summit today , he underlined that achieving the aspired development requires also the international community to achieve just peace , ending the occupation and the restoration of the legitimate rights in line of UN. legitimacy.
He demanded lifting the siege which has been imposed on the Palestinian people in Gaza.
Safar reviewed the steps and developmental agricultural programs which are being carried out in Syria .
