Transport Ministers of Syria , Jordan, and Saudi Arabia agreed following a two-day meeting in Amman, Jordan , yesterday, on the importance of connecting the railway networks of the three countries together and to support trade exchange among them.
In a statement to reporters following the meeting, Syrian Transport Minister, Yaarob Badr, hailed the standing technical relations among the three countries , indicating that another meeting on the ministerial level at least between Syria and Jordan will be held soon as a first stage to examine the study of railway connection among the three countries , and to discuss a joint formula for financing the building of a railway between Syria and Jordan.
