TRIPOLI, LIBYA, SANA _The 12th ministerial meeting of the septet electricity network held in Tripoli, capital of Libya with the participation of Syrian Electricity Minister Ahmad Khalid al-Ali discussed recommendations of the Technical Committee, in addition to the minutes of the committee's latest meetings.
The meeting also discussed Palestine's request to join the electricity grid project.
The meeting of the Operation Committee, which was held in Libya late December, aimed at following up the developments of the electricity linking among the networks of these countries and means of developing electricity exchange by the linking lines.
Ministers of Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq and Libya attended the meeting.
