Aleppo, north of Syria (SANA)-The Syrian-Turkish Economic Forum for Businesswomen recommended setting up the basis for a union of businesswomen of the Mediterranean basin.

The recommendations, reached last night in the Syrian northern city of Aleppo, also called for outlining an industrial directory for businesswomen in Syria and Turkey, organizing a joint exhibition in Ankara to market their products and joint courses for training and rehabilitation of women in different vital production and banking sectors.

The three-day Forum has discussed the possibility of initiating private banks in Aleppo and investment projects in Turkey and Syria. Almost 60 businesswomen took part in the event.
