DAMASCUS, SANA _Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdullah al-Dardari on Monday called on the Czech businessmen to benefit from the rich investment climate in Syria and the strong bilateral relations between them in all domains through the establishment of investment projects.

During his meeting with a delegation representing Czech Businessmen headed by Minister of Finance Miroslav Kalousek, Dardari depicted the Czech expertise in Syria in the reform and industry fields as very important, pointing out that Syria will work to benefit from these expertise.

He added that a Syrian businessmen delegation will visit Prague soon in order to boost the economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.

He hailed the agreement signed between the two sides on preventing double taxation which will constitute a main factor in supporting investors and businessmen in the two countries.

For his part, Kalousek expressed his country's readiness to offer expertise to Syria in all fields, particularly in the investment, machines, food industries and technologies.
