Arab Transportation, Communication Workers end 5th meeting

SANA'A,SANA -The fifth meeting of Secretariat General and the Executive Council of Arab Transportation and Communication Workers Union (ATCWU) concluded in Sana'a with the participation of Syria.

The Three-day meeting organized by the Yemeni General Union of Transport and Communication Workers in coordination with Arab Transportation and Communication Workers Union, discussed reports related to the union's activities in the pervious period and issues concerning Arab Transport and communication workers.

The participants discussed issues and problems confronting transport and communication workers in Arab world and unite views in this regard, in addition to exchanging experiences among Arab worker unions.

They expressed support to Syria and Lebanon in the restoration of their occupied lands and to the Palestinian people in the establishment of their independent state. They also voiced support to Sudan in facing foreign interventions in its internal affairs.
