President al-Assad Meets Emir of Qatar in Paris

Paris, (SANA)- President Bashar al-Assad met Emir of Qatar State His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in Paris Saturday afternoon.

President al-Assad highlighted the efforts exerted by Sheikh Hamad in reaching Doha Agreement and following up on the implementation of its articles for the best benefit of the Lebanese people and the Arabs as a whole.

For his part, His Highness the Emir of Qatar underlined the role of President al-Assad who has always supported Lebanese national accord.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem and Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al Thani,.
