Sana'a, (SANA)-The Higher Council of Arab Agricultural Engineers Union (AAEU) elected Monday Head of Syria's Agricultural Engineers Union Akram Khalil as chairman of the AAEU.

In a statement to SANA reporter, Khalil said: "The council has discussed the situation of the Arab food security within the economic changes in the world , the increase of food prices and the food gab in the world and the Arab region."

"Meetings of the council, which coincided with the technical conference of the Union on the Arab integration in the field of developing organism agriculture economies and its effect on the Arab agriculture, dealt with issues of syndicalism and professional affairs." He concluded.
