Cairo, (SANA) – The meetings of the exceptional session of the Transitional Arab Parliament for discussing Arab common work kicked off on Saturday under the chairmanship of Speaker Mohammad Jasem al-Saqr.
In his opening speech, al-Saqr expressed hope for Arab cooperation to solve Arab issues, particularly the occupied Syrian Golan, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Sudan and Somalia.
He pointed out that this extraordinary session aims to discuss Arab common work and resolve inter-Arab disputes.
For his part, Secretary General of the Arab League Amr Mousa stressed the importance of the Arab Parliament in facing challenges and problems targeting the Arab nation, affirming the Arab League's readiness to cooperate with the Parliament to carry out its recommendations.
Mousa pointed out to the agreement on the importance of establishing the Arab Joint Market by 2020, stressing the need to give special attention to education in Arab countries.
