WEST TRIPOLI, SANA _Activities of the 69th Ordinary Session of the Board of Directors of the Arab Labor Organization (ALO) began in Libya Sunday with the participation of Syria and the member states in the Organization.
Director General of the ALO Ahmad Mohamed Lukman pointed out that the current session will deal with the aggression that our people and workers are exposed to due to the Israeli occupation of the occupied Arab territories and its destructive repercussions on the economic and social situation in Palestine, Syrian Golan and South Lebanon.
He stressed the necessity for curbing these oppressive practices, calling for unity in the face of these practices.
The 2-day session is scheduled also to discuss two draft projects on establishment of an Arab Consultative Committee on the movement of the Arab workers among the Arab countries and an Arab Company for development in the Arab countries.
