Sana'a, (SANA) – Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Fayssal Mikdad discussed on Saturday with Yemeni Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qorbi bilateral relations between the two countries and regional developments.
Both sides expressed relief over the continuing coordination between the two countries regarding Arab and international issues, stressing the need to implement the recommendations of the 20th Arab Summit which was held in Damascus.
Talks dealt with the delicate situation in Lebanon, affirming that dialogue and consensus must be used as a framework for solving problems in Lebanon.
The two sides renewed their support of the Palestinian people in their struggle to restore their rights, including the establishment of an independent state on their lands. They also condemned the Israeli criminal practices in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to stop these practices.
