Sana'a,(SANA)-
Prime Minister, Mohammed Naji Otri, who is currently on a visit to Yemen , met yesterday evening with the Syrian community in Yemen.
During the meeting , Otri reviewed the developments and the current economic and developmental reform in Syria under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad , and the efforts being exerted to meet the need of the citizens.
He added that Syria is taking steps confidently in the developmental process ,and the government is bearing in mind the aspirations and expectations of the citizen to have a free and honorable life according to the directives of the leader of the homeland , President Bashar al-Assad.
He stressed that in spite of the pressures and challenges to which Syria is being exposed , Syria is committed to national and pan-Arab principles , and has taken advanced steps in the march of development and reform in the economic , financial , legislative , and administrative spheres.
He also reviewed the achievements attained on the level of higher education and the opening of private and public universities , industrial cities and oil refineries.
Speakers from the Syrian communities talked about some issues related to their conditions in general , and made suggestions to boost all forms of cooperation in all spheres.
