Kuwait, SANA _Wrapping up its deliberations in Kuwait, the Arab Family Conference stressed the necessity of enacting laws for protection of the Arab family, asserting the role of the parents in growing up children. The conference on Wednesday recommended to enact laws for the protection of the family against family violence phenomenon and setting up an Arab cooperation fund for limiting the sufferance of the poor families. It also called for setting up an Arab child parliament in all the Arab countries and establishment of centers for psychological training and settling disputes. Chairwoman of Environment, Health and Inhabitants Bureau at the General Union of Syrian Women Kawkab al-Dayieh represented Syria in the conference. H.Zain/ Zahra |
