BEIRUT (SANA)-
Lebanese President Emile Lahoud stressed on Thursday his keenness to establish best brotherly relations with Syria.
"Modern history proves that as long as the relation between Syria and Lebanon is good it will reflect positively in the interests of the two countries," Lahoud said during his meeting with the Sudanese Foreign Minister Lam Akol.
He added that any relapse in these relations will harm the two countries that belong to one Arab environment and it's normal to continue the positive interaction between them.
The Lebanese President wondered about the reasons of the international community silence regarding the massacres that are committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinians.
"It is time for the international community to deal fairly with the Arab-Israeli conflict and work to achieve just and comprehensive peace in the region ,He added.
