Indonesian Traveler Bolanja Describes Syria as the Homeland of Amity and Peace

Indonesian traveler , Jef Bolanja arrived today at the Syrian-Turkish border point of Bab-alHawa on his motorbike in the framework of a journey for peace which started in 2006 passing through Asia , the Middle East and North Africa, and some European countries , traveling the distance of 96 thousand Kilometers out of an overall distance of 330 thousand kilometers which he will travel in five years and during which he will visit 100 countries.
In a statement to SANA reporter in Idleb , Bolanja indicated that his visit to Syria aims at boosting bilateral relations between Indonesia and Syria , and because Syria constitutes a homeland for amity and peace and seeks the establishment of just and comprehensive peace , and the restoration of the Arab Palestinian people's legitimate rights.
He indicated that during his visit to Syria he will travel the distance of 1500 kilometers visiting Damascus, Aleppo, Homs , Hama, and Lattakia.
The traveler's visit coincides with the festivity of Damascus as the capital of Arab culture for the year 2008 , and with 63rd anniversary of the Indonesia's National Day.
