TARTOS, Syrian Coast, SANA-Prime Minister Mohammed Naji Ottri stressed that the development process in the Syrian governorates moves forward on all levels.
Chairing a work meeting in Tartos governorate headquarters on Friday, Ottri reviewed the government developmental plans and programs and efforts exerted to develop the national economy to meet the citizens' necessities and improve their living conditions.
He also talked about the development of investments, increasing the volume of the projects and financial investments due to the facilities that Syria is offering to encourage the national, Arab and foreign investments.
Later, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Coastal Street( Cornish) in Tartos which extended from al-Mushwar area to al-Ghamqa River with 600meters length and total cost estimated at S.P.1.2 billion.
He also laid the cornerstones for al-Mushwar Pumping Station with a cost estimated at S.P. 450 million and for the Golden Sand Hotel project which consists of 6 stories on 3600 square meters. The project's approximate cost reached S.P.300 million.
Ottri also opened headquarters of Tartos Heath Directorate at an estimated cost of S.P. 57 million.
