Damascus, (SANA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Ottri discussed on Wednesday with Lebanese Minister of Agriculture Talal al-Sahilli cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture.
Premier Ottri was briefed on the agenda of the Syrian-Lebanese Joint Agricultural Committee which is convening in Damascus. He stressed the importance of developing Syrian-Lebanese relations in all fields and particularly agriculture, underlining the importance of restoring security and stability in Lebanon which would reflect positively on both countries.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Agriculture Dr. Adel Safar and the Secretary General of the Syrian-Lebanese Higher Council Nasri Khouri.
Premier Ottri also discussed with Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammad Soleymani Syrian-Iranian relations, underlining the need to develop them in all fields of developments, especially the fields of communication, information technology, and scientific research.
Talks dealt with means for bolstering Syrian-Iranian relations in all fields, particularly fields of science, industry, banking and development to benefit the two countries and their peoples.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Communications and Technology Dr. Imad al-Sabouni and the Iranian Ambassador in Damascus.
