DAMASCUS, SANA _Damascus and Italian Florence Universities on Saturday signed a Letter of Intent which includes mutual desire for developing bilateral cooperation in the field of exchanging students' visits and the scientific programs and expertise.
The signing ceremony of the Letter of Intent comes in the framework of the two sides exerted efforts to develop joint scientific researches and studies in various domains of mutual concern in order to reach a joint scientific cooperation accord in the future.
The two sides agreed that architecture and restoration of the archeological sites are the first stage of this cooperation.
Rector of Damascus University Wael Malla and Rector of Florence University Augusto Marinelli signed the letter.
