Damascus, (SANA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Ottri chaired on Tuesday the weekly Cabinet meeting, during which Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem gave a political presentation on regional and international developments.

The Foreign Minister pointed out that Syria finished preparations for the Arab Summit, stressing that Syria wishes the Summit to focus on Arab solidarity and unifying Arab stances and visions to confront challenges facing the Arab nation.

The Cabinet discussed a number of draft laws and decrees and approved a number of them, including a draft law for establishing a national center for distinguished students in Homs, and a draft law for approving the Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation Agreement signed between Syria and Romania.
