Jul 16, 2007

DAMASCUS, (SANA)-

Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Reforms Dr. Adel Safar discussed Sunday with a delegation of the Yemeni Economic Institution headed by Director of the Establishment Ali al-Kahlani possibilities of developing the agricultural trade exchange between Syria and Yemen.

Safar underlined the importance of developing cooperation and Arab integration in the economic field and exchanging agricultural expertise particularly in domain of conveying technologies.

For his part, al-Kahlani pointed out to the Yemeni side desire to buy part of the surplus of Syrian wheat and other agricultural products and to review the possibility of importing some Yemeni products to Syria like onions and potatoes.
