Damascus dailies on Thursday front paged the following headlines:

-President al-Assad briefs the two US Senators, Kerry and Dood on Syria's stances regarding peace under an honest international patronage, setting a time table to the withdrawal from Iraq and maintaining its unity and supporting all what the Lebanese parties agree on without foreign interference.

-Vice-President for Cultural Affairs al-Attar receives the Syrian community in Kuwait.

-Russian Rossiyskaya gazeta newspaper: the Summit between President al-Assad and Russia's President Putin stresses deep-rooted cooperation between the two countries.

-Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stresses his country's desire to tackle all the sides of the peace process.

-Prime Minister Otri: Syria is a political and economic power which can't be ignored.

-Receiving AL Secretary General Moussa, Lebanese President Lahoud: the national unity government is the key for solving the crisis.

-Over 2 American soldiers killed in attacks in Baghdad.
