Ottri Confers with UNFPA Representative

DAMASCUS, (SANA)

Mechanism of cooperation and coordination between the United Nations Fund for Population UNFPA and Syrian organizations concerned with population affairs and population development were discussed here Saturday.

That came when Prime Minister Mohammad Naji Ottri received representative of the UNFPA in Damascus Mrs. Lina Mahmoud Mousa.

Both sides reviewed program of development of the western area and its goals and directions to widen circle of popular participation and attain the balanced and sustainable development.

Ottri underscored the government programs' interest in populations' topics with the aim of matching between human development and economic development.
