DAMASCUS,  (SANA)

Syria was and still being exposed to pressures and threats due to her commitment to the national principles and pan-Arab choices, Deputy Chairman of the National Progressive Front said Thursday.

This came when Dr. Suleiman Qaddah received Deputy Chairman of Sudanese National Congress party Dr. Nafei Ali Nafei  .

Qaddah spoke about the NPF charter and the role it plays in the country’s general life to enhance political multiplicity,  enhance the national unity and to strengthen the internal front in the face of hostile conspiracies aiming at sizing the region’s treasures and resources. Both sides exchanged viewpoints  regarding the latest political developments in the region in addition to the existing fraternal ties and cooperation between Syria and Sudan.

For their part, members of the Sudanese delegation expressed support to Syria’s stances and steadfastness under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.
